Specialist Coaches

  1. If you are working as a Football, Cricket, Key Stage One (KS1) or Swimming Coach, you must show you are suitably qualified to deliver the relevant programme
  2. Football/Cricket Coach – Ideally hold Level 2 qualification but must have minimum Level 1
  3. Swimming Coach – Essential: Level 2 swimming qualification e.g. ASA/STA and an NPLQ or NRASTC lifeguard qualification
  4. KS1 Coach – Essential: Must have a Level 2 qualification relevant to the care we are providing i.e. Level 2 childcare qualification, in at least your 2nd year of a teaching degree, have completed a PGCE or are a qualified primary school teacher
  5. If you have not yet received your certificate, you must upload written confirmation to show you are working towards or have completed your qualification. Contact Student Services or your course tutor to provide official documentation.
  6. Go to your profile and select “Education and Qualifications”
  7. Enter the required fields
  8. Click ‘Select file’ to upload your certificate or documentation (please scan the certificate or, if you are taking a photo, please ensure it is clear and we can see the whole document)
  9. Click ‘Save Changes’
  10. Go back to your Contracts screen and ‘Mark As Done’

 

If you are Uploading a First Aid Certificate

  1. For this position, you must have completed at least a 6 hour first aid course relevant to the care we are providing, i.e. Level 2 paediatric first aid or similar
  2. If you do not yet have your first aid certificate, you must upload documentation to show that you successfully attended and completed the course, detailing dates, course duration and content, contact your course provider for details.
  3. Check the date and awarding body on your qualification
  4. Go to your profile and select “Sports and Childcare Qualification”
  5. Click ‘Add Subject’ and select First Aid
  6. Enter the governing  body of your certificate; e.g. St John Ambulance
  7. Enter the level of your qualification; e.g. Level 2 Paediatric First Aid
  8. Enter the completion date of the award
  9. Click ‘Select file’ and upload your certificate or written documentation (please scan the certificate, if you are taking a photo, please ensure it’s clear and we can see the whole document)
  10. Click ‘Save Changes’
  11. Go back to your Contracts screen and ‘Mark As Done’

 

Note:

If you are uploading under ‘Education and Qualifications’ and you see an error message, the file may be too big! Instead list your qualification under ‘Sports and Childcare Qualification’ and upload your certificate here.
